5/6 Symmetry Drawings

1/2 Fall Leaf Collage

Grades 1/2 worked on creating a gloriously balanced composition by overlapping their leaves, and filling the page evenly.

3/4 Wabanaki Weaving

Grades 3/4 have been studying Wabanaki history with Mrs. Snow. We observed and discussed some examples of Wabanaki basketry as a group, and created our own weavings using materials found in our natural environment. 

5/6 Cezanne Still Life

We continued our exploration in observation by learning about and discussing the still life paintings of Paul Cezanne. Then looking at the shapes and colors in our own still life we created a chalk pastel drawing.
